BLACKFISH Finally released their ambitious TYB Tour Collection of 8 CDs - improvised duet installations around the USA while on tour with Choreographer Emily Johnson's The Thank-you Bar from 2009-2011. Listening and downloads available at the BLACKFISH bandcamp site, letter-pressed & numbered limited-edition hard copies availabe through the Catalyst online store.

Choreographer Emily Johnson's The Thank-you Bar, created in collaboration with James Everest and Joel Pickard, tours to Tallahassee, San Francisco, Houston, Brattleboro, & New York. BLACKFISH concerts accompany the tour. more info

The Sensational Joint Chiefs are on hiatus.

The Sans Le Systeme record, TUNER, will finally be released in early 2012 as a download only album via bandcamp.

Lateduster reunion Dec 16 at the Cedar Cultural Center, Minneapolis. Bryan lives in San Francisco. Martin and James are on tour with other projects all the time. But every once in a while they have a beer and talk about a reunion. It's finally happening. Oh goodie.

FIRETRUNK RECORDS is an independent record label and music production company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Founded in 1997, Firetrunk is run by independent musicians, including Lateduster, The Sensational Joint Chiefs, Sans Le Systeme, JG Everest, THE BRYAN OLSON JAZZ GROUP, BLACKFISH, The Grave Trio, and XOX. With sister label GROOVE GARDEN RECORDS, Firetrunk created events like FREELOADED WEDNESDAYS at The Front(1996-98) and CROSSFADED THURSDAYS live soundtracks series at The DINKYTOWNER CAFE (2001-2004) as well as supporting the SOUNDUNSEEN FILM & MUSIC FESTIVAL, MAKING MUSIC conversations series at The University of Minnesota, and CAPTURE! dance film series at the Bryant Lake Bowl Theatre - all in Minneapolis. Firetrunk has also fostered film, video and dance collaborations with DV-CINEMA, CATALYST DANCE, and Simone Lia, as well as providing professional event planning, great DJs and live music for weddings and other private functions.
