Founded in 1997, Firetrunk is run by independent musicians, including Lateduster, The Sensational Joint Chiefs, Sans Le Systeme, JG Everest, THE BRYAN OLSON JAZZ GROUP, BLACKFISH, The Grave Trio, and XOX. With sister label GROOVE GARDEN RECORDS, Firetrunk created events like FREELOADED WEDNESDAYS at The Front(1996-98) and CROSSFADED THURSDAYS live soundtracks series at The DINKYTOWNER CAFE (2001-2004) as well as supporting the SOUNDUNSEEN FILM & MUSIC FESTIVAL, MAKING MUSIC conversations series at The University of Minnesota, and CAPTURE! dance film series at the Bryant Lake Bowl Theatre - all in Minneapolis.
